Spring Swirl Cupcakes

Another creation from this weekend, a small celebration of Spring. It was lovely over the weekend but now we have been plunged into winter again, and I have resorted to turning the heater on!

Orange Zest Cupcakes, moisted with orange and rum sugar syrup, topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting, baby lemon glitter and pink balls.

love the mix of icing colours, you must go through a lot of cachous!! I finally found a place here that sells edible glitter... it isn't cheap :( Do you buy online or from a local shop?

Thanks Sherry

Uberannie, I do go through a lot of consumables, but they are such fun. Yay for edible glitter, I buy mine from cake deco for about $10 a little pot but I have recently seen it for $13 a pot, you do only need to use a little at a time to get a great effect, so it really lasts.
